Pure Polyester powders are extensively used for industrial use where the requirement is good for atmospheric conditions. These powders have excellent light and weather fastness with superior gloss and colour retention. They are weather resistant to environmental conditions such as UV rays, rain, heat and dust etc.
We call our Pure-Polyester powders as the green range of powders as well. Pure-Polyester powder contains polyester resins along with other additives selected specially for their excellent UV resistance and outdoor weathering. The powder forms protective and decorative film
The surface to be coated must be cleaned from oils, grease or flash rust.
The curing schedule is 10-15 minutes @180- 200ºC metal temperature.
Store in a cool and dry place at a temperature lower than 30°C. Higher temperature may damage the chemical and mechanical properties of the powder
Because of its special content, these powders are suggested specially for exterior coating.
It is always recommended to use a top coat with transparent powders on the top of the metallic powders. The top coat prevents oxidation of the metallic pigments of the base coat thus enhancing the life of the coating.
